ICLO-NLS Open Event: Film Screening & Debate
The ICLO-NLS Special Interest Group (SIG) Child & Adolescent Lacanian Psychoanalysis
invites you to the Irish Premiere of the film
Like an Open Sky by Mariana Otero
The event is open to all: practitioners, educators, carers and anyone with an interest in questioning one’s understanding of and responses to subjectivity. This film is crucial viewing for those who work with children and adolescents, within institutions, hospitals and other clinical and educational settings. The documentary bears witness to the unique work carried out by the practitioners and young residents of Le Courtil in Belgium and demonstrates how a treatment is invented which responds to the singularity of each. The screening will be followed by a Q & A session with Marie Brémond and Bruno de Halleux, practitioners with the Courtil for many years, who will share their experience with us.
